Michael Call

I was born in 1991 in Seattle, WA.

After graduating high school, I served a two-year mission in McAllen, Texas for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I attended Brigham Young University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 2016. During my time at BYU, I discovered my passion for Excel, problem-solving, and working with computers — interests that eventually shaped my career in software and business.

Early in my career, I had the opportunity to intern at Deloitte, one of the Big Four accounting firms. After completing the internship, I realized that my real passion was programming — not finance.

I enrolled in a software development bootcamp called DevMountain, where I learned the fundamentals of web development. From there, I spent countless hours building personal projects, experimenting with computers, and sharpening my skills.

Early Career

My first developer role was at DishOne, where I learned Java and gained experience in full-stack architecture and application development. During this time, I also became deeply interested in entrepreneurship. I chased app ideas, launched small projects, and learned firsthand how challenging it is to build a profitable SaaS product—especially in competitive markets.

Web Design Journey

Eventually, I combined my love for business and software and joined DevClock.com. Here, I learned the .NET ecosystem, strengthened my skills in C#, and developed a strong appreciation for Microsoft technologies. During this period, I met Randall, who became one of my most influential mentors. He taught me the true power of technology and how it can genuinely improve people's lives.

Together, we launched a web design business focused on building affordable, high-quality informational websites. We also provide consulting services to help people implement technology that creates real, meaningful change in their businesses and daily lives.

Core Values

Faith and Attitude

Success begins with the thoughts we choose to believe. I've learned that faith, optimism, and self-confidence shape the direction of our lives. I practice this every day by trusting in God, believing in myself, and maintaining a positive attitude—even in difficult circumstances. A strong attitude is often the determining factor between success and failure, and I try to live this principle by always putting one foot in front of the other and moving forward, no matter what challenges come my way.

Kindness and Love

I believe the purpose of business is to serve others using the skills we've developed. True success comes when we lead with kindness, treat every customer with respect, and genuinely try to make their lives better. When we prioritize people first, business naturally grows. No matter how skilled, talented, or knowledgeable someone is, kindness and love are the real measures of success. I try to live by the simple motto: treat people the way I want to be treated.

Relationships

Relationships are one of life's greatest assets. No amount of money, achievement, or recognition can replace the value of strong connections with friends and family. Relationships create true happiness and the memories that last forever. I invest in my relationships by giving people my time, being present, and creating meaningful experiences together. I especially love building memories through outdoor adventures—whether that's exploring the mountains, diving into the ocean, or enjoying the water through swimming, kiteboarding, or wing foiling. These experiences bring joy into my life and strengthen the bonds I have with the people I care about.

Here are some random fun facts.

Some unique things about me.

Three-Time State Champion

I played football in high school as a wide receiver and defensive back, and our team made it to the state championship three years in a row. Those years taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to perform under pressure.

Backflips & Cliff Jumps

I love adventure—especially flipping off cliffs into the water. If there's a trampoline or a 30-foot cliff nearby, you'll probably find me doing a backflip or a gainer.

Never Had Alcohol or Coffee

I've never had a sip of alcohol or coffee for personal and religious reasons, but I still enjoy going out with friends. I'll happily take a Hawaiian Punch instead!

Eagle Scout Since Age 14

For my Eagle Scout project, I organized volunteers to plant 15 trees in a new city park. Scouting taught me leadership, service, and responsibility at a young age.

Wind & Water Sports Fan

Kiteboarding and wing foiling are my escape. I love the adrenaline, the freedom, and that floating feeling when you catch wind and lift off the water.

I can speak Tex-Mex and Spanish

While serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I learned how to speak Spanish.
